project horny gtr

suppose il be the first to post in this section then. goy my car a few weeks ago. it isnt on the road yet because it skinted me a bit and ive been waiting till the end of the month to tax it. so 1 more week to go and then you can all lookout lol.

its pretty standard at the moment. it does have 17" advans, a custom exhaust, zeal coilovers, strutbrace and a steering wheel.
its gonna remain this way for a while because owning a gtr isnt gonna be cheap lol.

















while ive been waiting to tax it ive been doing a few things. i sanded down all the cam covers ready for painting and removed the hideous strutbrace. unfortunately i had to refit all the covers so i could drive it to work to have a clifford alarm fitted. reduced my insurance by a £1000!

i had the option to start the engine by remote fitted as well. the car was struggling to start because the battery was knackered.
on goes a new one.



since i had a car go up in flames before, i thought it was wise to fit this. notice the flare too lol



car was back home and cam covers were off again. another quick rub down, masked up and a few coats of high temp primer



then 2pak primer



then finally painted and refitted. n1 gold





next was to sand down the turbo pipe and strutbrace and primer them. the turbo pipe had all of its mould lines ginded off too. i thought id do these in a nice sparkly silver i had spare. this way it would draw attention to the engine covers.







last thing was to give the outside a full buff to remove all the scratchs and bring the colour back up.





last thing is to give it a good wax to get rid of the swirl marks.



i havnt got any pics of it all polished yet because the weather has been crap lately and it needs another wash now lol.

will do mate. not sure what they are worth though. they need a bit of a refurb. rear tyres are brand new.

only one question , why you got a gts rear spoiler ? lol

i dunno, it was on there when i bought it. i got a gtr bootlid an spoiler ready to go on once they are painted though

yeah been on the road a while now. its alreday broken down a few times and also had a run in with a lampost damaging the wing and bumper lol
